I’m not a fan of Fauci but he was right about there being a difference between the individual level and the population level. It’s a concept called scale and it effects literally everything in science.

The glitch is that he doesn’t see the big picture, which is astounding that someone as intelligent as he is has such a massive blind spot right in the middle of the central tenet of his campaign. Holy shit. Unbelievable.
I’m really unsure why West is running if Trump is such a big threat. His campaign makes no sense. As a gay man, it’s insulting to me that West says that Trump is more fascist because of gay rights. Biden was worse on gay rights for longer. If West wanted to fight for LGBT people, he would fight against Biden’s propaganda instead of parroting it.
What was the point of repeating “reported” crimes in the San Francisco story? It’s a widely known fact that crime has dramatically decreased across the country from what it was from the 1960s to the mid-1990s. What evidence exists that it’s just because people are simply reporting a lower percentage of crimes? Are you seriously pretending that cops were solving stolen car cases back then, and that’s why people trusted them and reported crimes to them more? Crime is way down, but the media sensationalize crime in order to make us fear our neighbors, especially those scary homeless criminals who we shouldn’t help because they’re obviously bad people…

I also really only think RFK Jr is the one who can win. Love Dr West but he will only appeal to a limited number of voters where RFK can cross all the lines for a bunch of reasons.
I’m still hoping somehow he can get attention to the plight of Palestinians and evil of Israeli govt and our support – whenever he finally sees the light about the BS his family’s friends have been shoveling for his whole life.
Another RADICAL sea-change that you can’t force but hopefully they are intelligent enough to at least honestly look into. And in this case, some awful atrocity that gets better than normal media coverage would be the perfect catalyst. It’s not like Israelis ever show restraint – which is evidence in itself that their power over US is greater than what we know.
As unfortunate as it is, isn’t the simplest explanation to be that West is actually used (willingly or unwillingly) precisely to disqualify any third option? Like Bernie has been in retrospect when he ended up supporting Clinton?

You are presenting “radical” information to them that is common sense once you see the patterns for months but if they don’t watch all the time, and let any of the legacy media crap in, their brains are still stuck in the old patterns and they will struggle against redefining or analyzing what they have already processed and stored.
Biden’s corruption matters. What Dems did in the Weaponization of Govt hearings against truth matters. The Biden govt’s institutional censorship & lying & enforcing it with collusion of Big Tech & Pharma is clearly MORE fascist than anything Trump did or said and ignoring vax injury and along with still pushing policies & installing criminals to run these programs hurts all of us.
Criminalizing and wasting all that money, time & energy on impeachments is corrupt. The whole party is corrupt. The whole system is corrupt. Cornel preaches against white elites but he told workers to vote for the writer of the Crime Bill — and from the several interviews I’ve seen, it sounds like he’s telling them to do it again! He says that Trump questioning an election is fascism but doesn’t care that the DNC fixed their last two primaries.

I disagree with Cornel West’s stance against the vaccine mandates and the vilification of Trump. But it’s always funny how White people want us Black people to ignore the system of racism white supremacy to join along class lines. However, history shows that Black people always get the short end of the stick when doing so. For example, getting a national highway system that runs through Black business districts. Lastly, please get Kirk a book or at least tell him to see Dr Frances Cress Welsing’s definition of racism white supremacy.

It’s kind of remarkable to me that CJ, Nick, & Sabby @ RBN, Pasta, and Kit all have said similar things to Dr. West about the messaging on Trump/Biden. In each, Cornel pushed back but he never got upset like he did with JD. Is his campaign the only one in history without a PR person to help with messaging? George freaking Washington had dudes helping him with speeches and messaging 250 years ago! Maybe we just don’t have the records of him calling Hamilton a right wing Trumper. Nonetheless, that suggestion seemed to be what set Dr. West off. He’s too smart not to see the difference between being told to be disingenuous vs taking constructive criticism to more effectively communicate to the people whose votes are required.
I watch a lot of Chris Hedges and Richard Wolff too and they also go into the Trump = monster often. Maybe that’s the intellectual left’s RFK-Palestine-blindspot or maybe Trump did demonstrably horrible racist things that I’ve forgotten or blocked out. I don’t like Trump, haven’t voted since Obama, and think Trump is a egotistical jerk that’s probably a little racist. Nonetheless, what policy or action can someone please point to that harmed minorities or LGBTQ besides the same Imperialism that everyone in Washington does? The FBI and CIA spied on him for 4 years and they couldn’t even produce one verbal slip in a private conversation where he dropped an N bomb or said something disgustingly racist- if he had it’d be all over MSNBC and CNN for six weeks. The border wall felt racist to me, but the border crisis is now more obvious and ever and that was at least some attempt to address it. Biden and the Democrats have done nothing on that issue… aside from quietly finish building Trump’s wall.
