that means 124 republicans reported yes to prohibit warrantless searches and 86 voted no. so the majority of republicans voted to prohibit the warrantless searches. Sure all republicans should probably vote yes to prohibit BUT Jimmy and Russ go off on a rant saying the majority of republicans voted no. That’s not true. The yes vote was to prohibit warrantless searches and the no vote was not to prohibit warrantless searches, because amendment 6 was prohibit warrantless searches.
The No vote won, so the amendment failed, thus warrantless searches are not prohibited and will continue.
