Another disappointing video by the Jimmy Dore Show. If only Kurt could learn how to be a wing man, and stop trying to make this the “Kurt Metzger Show.”
For weeks now, I’ve fast forwarded (skipped through) the video anytime he’s talking, and it consistently cuts the run-time of the video in half, sometimes more than half.
Kurt can (and quite often does) add value to a show like this, and is absolutely knowledgeable and humorous, but in small, metered doses.
The JDS team needs to step up in the absence of Jimmy. Please do better and get control of the “Creature from the Metzger Lagoon.”
And “tip of the hat” to Pasta for stepping up, and stepping into, such large shoes. I wouldn’t want your job.
Forgot to mention, I learned a lot from what I saw and heard in this video, so thank you all for that.

Y’all should see what’s happening in Chicago right now with undocumented immigrants. The police stations are overflowing with migrants living inside at night and outside the station during the day. Alongside this Chicago’s homeless population is exploding (who have never been allowed to live in police stations, btw), there’s no services to support our most vulnerable, there’s tent cities popping up everywhere and in neighborhoods like Humboldt they’ve basically become semi-complex tent societies. This shit is out of control and I do what I can to help on an individual level, but there need to be some controls and accountability and *major* policy reform. Painting measured immigration policy as a “conservative talking point” is falling into the false two party paradigm and the “team” narrative, when it’s actually just common sense.
