Also, it really pisses me off that Krystal talks like she’s an expert on this issue. Someone who is not a medical professional or otherwise an expert on this issue should always lead by saying that and stay humble for god’s sake.
I agree that Krystal’s move was kind of bullshit. But there were two important points behind it. There is a certainly a portion of the populace who will write him off as a “vaccine skeptic”. He should know how to address those people, saying he is not leading with the issue is a start but he needs a quick answer, at least something positive to say like about polio. She also pointed out that he needs a more clear policy plan as it regards his stance on vaccines. Just because you point out a problem doesn’t necessitate a solution. There are a lot of obvious issues with Pharma and our healthcare industry but still no solution. Hiring the right people is not a solution in and of itself but I understand his hesitation with being too specific.
