The east side of cities are always the poorer areas because in the past when homes were heated with coal or wood the prevailing winds would carry the smoke from west to east. The homes and everything in the east end of cities would always have much worth air quality and everything would be covered with soot The larger the city the more extreme the difference from east to west.

I’m not mad at those workers I’m glad they’ll be able to live their lives comfortably. However, the rich don’t want us Poors “living” comfortably. I’m just saying don’t be surprised when the other shoe drops and these workers are replaced by robots or migrants that they can pay a lower wages. In the state of PA, our minimum wage is still 7.25/hr and yet they “say” they are going to raise it to 10.25 and something by July 1, 2024 well that remains to be seen. I think they were supposed to do that last year and you see how that worked out for Pennsylvanians.
